Lead Project Engineer - Food & Beverage - Remote

Overview

Avanceon seeks a Lead Project Engineer to join our Food & Beverage Team. This engineer will lead project teams in designing, developing, and implementing process automation systems for our customers. The ideal candidate has strong Allen Bradley knowledge, food and beverage process knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with and add value to customers.

In Short

• Lead project teams in process automation systems.
• Collaborate with project management for successful project delivery.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams.
• Engage with customers to design innovative solutions.
• Develop operator interface solutions for HMI or SCADA.
• Implement control and batch logic in PLCs.
• Lead startup and commissioning efforts at facilities.
• Travel to customer locations for commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and Wonderware / AVEVA HMIs.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to travel up to 60% on a rotational schedule.
