Autism Adult Services Project Manager Chicago (Long Term - Part-Time Temporary) - Remote

Overview

Autism Speaks is seeking a Temporary Adult Services Project Manager to join our Lifespan Programs department. This will be a long term part-time temporary project from January 2025 through December 2025. Candidates who can work remotely and that reside in the Chicago area will be considered.

In Short

• Support Director, Adult Services in developing a network throughout Chicago.
• Assist in development of digital and in-person training programs.
• Develop resources and tools for autistic adults and their families.
• Monitor developments in adolescent and adult services.
• Support implementation of adult services initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for comprehensive services.
• Represent Autism Speaks at local and state levels.
• Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Chicago and Illinois.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, rehabilitation, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience working with people with autism.
• Knowledge of autism and service delivery.
• Experience leading collaborative projects for adults with autism.
• Knowledge of transition and adult services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting to groups.
• Detail-oriented with process improvement skills.
• Proficient in Office 365 and social media platforms.
