Senior Front-End Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Front-End Engineer at Atomic Fi will own the design, development, and maintenance of our customer-facing applications, ensuring they are performant, accessible, and aligned with our API-driven fintech platform.

In Short

• Lead the front-end development lifecycle from concept through delivery and maintenance
• Architect and implement scalable Vue.js components and state management solutions
• Integrate with Node.js–powered APIs and microservices to deliver seamless user experiences
• Optimize application performance, load times, and responsiveness across devices
• Enforce code quality through automated testing and code reviews
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into interactive, accessible interfaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser, cross-platform, and integration issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Expert proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong command of HTML5 and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid)
• Familiarity with Node.js for front-end tooling and API integration
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and stateful data handling
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to act with autonomy and self-direction
• Strong communication skills
