Overview

The Senior Merchandiser, Product Development will be responsible for developing garment samples while collaborating with the Merchandising teams of the Vendors, focusing on cost-saving opportunities and innovation.

In Short

• Download tech packs and BOM.
• Work with vendors for development sampling and initial costs.
• Manage counter costing and handle samples.
• Track fit approvals and lab dips.
• Follow up with vendors on system updates.
• Manage wear-test samples and tailoring samples.
• Ensure systems are updated with costs and details.
• Coordinate MST legacy ID communications for purchase orders.
• Partner with brand Design, R&D, and suppliers to develop innovative products.
• Resolve fabric or quality issues with Mill management, QA, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Experience in sample development and offshore production.
• Proven experience in planning, prioritizing, and influencing.
• Ability to analyze situations and suggest solutions.
• Demonstrates eagerness to learn and experiment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
