In Short

  • Become an Apache Airflow expert and provide expertise to customers.
  • Work on a modern, sophisticated, cloud-native product.
  • Participate remotely within a fully distributed team.
  • Work directly with customers to prioritize and solve issues.
  • Spend up to 25% of your time on side projects.
  • Maintain 24x7 coverage through a specified pager period.
  • Participate in paid on-call rotation for weekend coverage.
  • Learn and build expertise across several software engineering disciplines.
  • Own the customer experience and provide “white glove” guidance.
  • Contribute to the open-source Airflow repository.

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in Python, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in any industry.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Containers.
  • Experience working with a distributed system with any major cloud provider.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with autonomy and independence.
