Accounting Manager - ANZ - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager - ANZ is responsible for leading GL accounting, reporting, and analytics under local and US GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.

In Short

• Lead month-end and quarter-end reporting for Australian and New Zealand entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and audit requirements.
• Manage end-to-end audits and support timely filings.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements for intercompany transactions.
• Develop profit & loss and balance sheet analytics.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant – CPA/CA with 7-8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the insurance industry.
• Demonstrable financial accounting knowledge.
• Experience in a remote working environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
• Comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail.
