Electrical Engineer - Distribution - Remote

Overview

Asplundh Engineering Services is seeking a Distribution Engineer with at least 3 years of expertise to join our team in Atlanta GA.

In Short

• Review daily outages and initiate corrective action.
• Analyze customer complaints regarding outages and voltage issues.
• Review requests for large load additions and determine distribution design.
• Create Project Authorization Forms and present projects.
• Create contingency plans for Single Contingency Line Loss.
• Perform Synergi load flows for circuit overloads and faults.
• Update load estimating projections and perform load balancing.
• Provide engineering switching support during summer heat waves.
• Perform underground cable ratings.
• Provide RMT support during storms.

Requirements

• Proven ability to communicate with clients and project teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with projects in distribution design.
• BS degree +3 or more years relevant experience.
• MS degree +2 or more years relevant experience.
• High School Diploma +8 or more years relevant experience.
• Driver's License required.
