Overview

The NOC Analyst contributes to a 24/7 monitoring and remediation team within the Managed Services department, responsible for identifying and resolving failures while maintaining documentation and executing maintenance activities.

In Short

  • Full-time position working Friday to Monday, 9 AM to 8 PM EST.
  • Troubleshoot networking technologies, primarily Cisco and Meraki devices.
  • Perform client health checks and resolve alerts using monitoring systems.
  • Manage client backup services and remediate issues related to backup failures.
  • Open, track, and close service tickets in ITSM.
  • Work with internal/external resources to remediate incidents.
  • Provide direct communication to affected users on outages and maintenance.
  • Understand SLAs and meet them in incident response scenarios.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance checks on managed devices.
  • Coordinate RMA requests and maintain necessary certifications.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of technical support experience.
  • Experience with event/alert management and incident/change management processes.
  • Basic networking knowledge including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of NOC experience.
  • Possession of Industry Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented with a proactive approach.
