Plan Termination Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Plan Termination Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of processing DC Plan Terminations, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing excellent service to clients.

In Short

• Manage plan administration for assigned clients.
• Prepare government forms for plan termination.
• Conduct compliance testing and analysis.
• Calculate and allocate employer contributions.
• Ensure compliance with DOL and IRS requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Track progress of plan terminations to meet deadlines.
• Protect and secure confidential data.
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• 2-3 years of experience with ERISA qualified plans.
• High school diploma required; degree preferred.
• Coursework in pension plan administration is a plus.
• Finance and accounting experience is an asset.
• Results-oriented with strong decision-making abilities.
