Senior Data Analyst - Federal Financial Systems - Remote

Overview

Ascella Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with Federal Financial Systems experience to work on an application modernization effort and lead data conversion activities at a cabinet-level agency. This role will provide critical support for implementation/migration activities.

In Short

• Understanding the current system business requirements and functions
• Assisting in migration/implementation/conversion of data from the legacy system to a new system
• Conducting testing for implementation and migration activities
• Creating Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards
• Interacting with other contractor stakeholders
• Interacting with Federal stakeholders
• Creating and maintaining contract SDLC documents
• Designing system user interfaces and controls for a federal financial application
• Gathering and documenting requirements and configurations
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 8+ years of functional/technical experience
• First-hand experience with designing, configuring, and implementing federal financial systems
• Microsoft Power BI creation and implementation experience
• Data migration/conversion experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Server, or Dataverse
• Working at a federal agency and working on IT systems
• Testing and data reconciliation experience for federal financial system migration and implementation activities
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
• Expert communication skills
