Program Manager (Federal Financial Systems) - Remote

Overview

Ascella Technologies is seeking a strategic leader to support a federal agency initiative focused on modernizing financial and acquisition systems. This effort includes migrating legacy core financial systems to a modern, cloud-based ERP solution to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support more effective decision-making across the agency.

In Short

• Lead a high-performing team of over 50 professionals in the delivery of interface design and data conversion.
• Serve as the primary bridge between government leadership and technical workstreams.
• Define and execute the Program Management Plan for successful project delivery.
• Ensure performance, quality, and schedule milestones are met in complex Agile environments.
• Manage the implementation of CGI Momentum at a federal agency.
• Direct programs with 50+ team members overseeing complex data conversion workstreams.
• Understand federal accounting and acquisition regulations.
• Utilize tools like Jira to track team capacity and velocity.
• Foster open communication and collaboration within the team.
• Commit to client satisfaction and exceptional service.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• At least 10 years of experience managing federal financial systems.
• Minimum of 15 years of industry experience in Financial Management Systems.
• Extensive experience leading projects within a SAFe or Lean-Agile framework.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure FISMA High cloud offerings preferred.
• Familiarity with federal software delivery lifecycles.
• Knowledge of automated data cleansing methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complex environments and align stakeholders.
