Accounting & Financial Reporting Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Consultant for Accounting and Financial Reporting (100%) to join our dynamic team at ARTBIO. This role is a contractor position, with an opportunity to convert to full-time position by end of 2025.

In Short

• Responsible for overseeing financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage the financial audit process and lead month-end close.
• Work with third-party tax and business outsourcing companies.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage statutory reporting for UK, Norway, and Swiss subsidiaries.
• Establish a solid internal control environment.
• Communicate complex accounting issues to management and auditors.
• Collaborate remotely with team members.
• CPA certification and 5+ years of relevant experience required.

Requirements

• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in biotech.
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite is required.
• Experience at a publicly traded company is required.
• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage accounting activities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand complex accounting transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change.
• Experience in collaborating remotely with team members.
