AoPS Online is our original online education experience, offering rigorous, high-quality math curriculum and online STEM classes for middle and high school students to help them expand and deepen their mathematical thinking.

In Short

• Teach math courses focused on preparing students for math contests.
• Utilize an online classroom for interactive discussions.
• Classes run once per week with pre-written lesson plans.
• Preference for instructors available on Sundays.
• Solid academic background in competition math required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring at middle/high school or university level.
• Experience in math competitions is essential.
• Fast typing skills needed for real-time text-based teaching.
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Requirements

• Strong background in competition math and a STEM field.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring advanced students is preferred.
• Experience in coaching for math competitions is necessary.
• Ability to manage a classroom in a text-based environment.
• Available to teach on Sundays from 7:20 - 9:30 pm ET.
• Mastery of written American English communication.
• Must be 18 years or older.
