Contract Instructor for Summer 2025 and SY25-26 - Remote

Overview

Prelude is seeking a part-time Instructor (Contract Position) to support our growing programs. We are a remote team, delivering a mix of in-person and virtual coursework to students in five cities.

In Short

• Contract position for Summer 2025 and SY25-26.
• Part-time role with a mix of in-person and virtual instruction.
• Shadowing and onboarding activities in April-May 2025.
• In-person instruction in August 2025 with travel required.
• Ongoing virtual instruction and student support from September 2025 to May 2026.
• Average of 5 hours per week for virtual instruction.
• Experience in teaching career-readiness and professional skills development.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and remote collaboration tools.
• Compensation based on hourly rate of $85-120.
• Travel expenses reimbursed for required travel.

Requirements

• Exceptional classroom instructor in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Experience in student support for high school-aged students.
• Experience teaching content related to career-readiness and professional skills development.
• Strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders across sectors.
• Familiarity with Canvas or other LMS platforms, Zoom, Google Drive, and remote collaboration tools.
