Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

Argus Labs is building the next generation of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games by empowering players with the extensive freedom to build, extend, and influence the game worlds they inhabit. Our approach is centered around World Engine, our state-of-the-art onchain game server framework.

In Short

• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance user experience.
• Design and build operational infrastructure for games.
• Spearhead security culture and architecture.
• Own delivery, scalability, and reliability of backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for safe and reliable products.

Requirements

• South East Asia-based candidates only.
• 4+ years managing software deployment pipelines.
• Proficient in Go, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong scripting skills with Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Expertise in CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Production Kubernetes management experience.
• Database infrastructure management skills.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to design highly available systems.
