In Short

• Join the Workers' Compensation Claims team as a Claims Adjuster.

• Adjudicate indemnity and some medical-only workers' compensation claims.
• Focus on claims in the California jurisdiction.
• Collaborate with senior management and underwriters on claims trends.
• Investigate and analyze claims thoroughly.
• Manage claims in litigation and negotiate settlements.
• Prepare reports and set claim reserves.
• Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years’ experience in workers' compensation claims.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be licensed to adjudicate claims in required jurisdictions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving and evaluation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Desire for continued professional development.
• Ability to articulate financial value at various responsibility levels.
• Fluency in English required.
