In Short

• Supervise a team of General Liability Bodily Injury Claims Adjusters.
• Provide training, mentoring, and technical oversight.
• Manage expenditures for the team to budget/plan.
• Work closely with claims adjusters and outside counsel.
• Provide advice and oversight into claim disposition strategies.
• Ensure performance objectives and metrics are met.
• Support the professional claims selection process.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Exhibit natural curiosity and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years’ experience adjudicating General Liability Bodily Injury claims.
• Minimum of five years in a Claims Supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's Degree or two or more industry designations required.
• New York General Adjusting License required.
• Strong customer focus and effective time management skills.
• Ability to articulate the financial value of work.
• Must work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Desire for continued professional development.
