Power BI Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Power BI Developer who will be responsible for designing and developing executive-level dashboards and operational reports for retail and grocery analytics using Power BI.

In Short

• Create Power BI dashboards for sales performance, inventory aging, and promotion ROI.
• Optimize DAX measures, Power Query dataflows, and refresh schedules via Power BI Service.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance across workspaces.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to connect to Databricks and Synapse datasets.
• Ensure adoption by business users through training and visual standardization.
• 4+ years of experience with Power BI Service & Desktop, DAX, Power Query (M), and Azure Synapse integration.
• Experience with data sources such as Databricks SQL Warehouse and Azure Analysis Services.
• Performance tuning skills including aggregation tables and DirectQuery optimization.
• Retail experience is a plus, particularly with sales dashboards and SKU profitability.
• Must have English B2 proficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Power BI development.
• Proficient in DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with Azure Synapse and Databricks.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques.
• Experience in retail analytics is preferred.
• Fluent in English (B2 level).
• Located in Latin America.
