Power BI Developer - Remote

In Short

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
• Optimize data models and DAX measures for enhanced performance.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure report accuracy.
• Stay current with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI development.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and deployment of BI solutions.
• Experience with Power BI Service, including report publishing, workspace management, and data refresh scheduling.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in writing complex and efficient SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating measures and calculated columns.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
• Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices.
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
