Finance Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Finance Analyst will work with the Specialty Brokerage Accounting Group, focusing on the review and analysis of policy premium balances and the timely collection of outstanding premiums.

• Work with the Specialty Brokerage Accounting Group
• Review and analyze policy premium balances
• Timely collection of outstanding premiums
• Process and reconcile finance-related transactions
• Record cash payments in Accounts Receivable system
• Apply cash to open receivable transactions
• Resolve discrepancies with errant payments
• Communicate with customers for payment direction
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries
• Review and analyze reports

Requirements

• Property & Casualty experience desired
• Basic understanding of project management concepts
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and efficient in documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Great Plains general ledger knowledge
• Experience with financial systems and accounts receivable cash application
