Survey Party Chief - Remote

Overview

Arcadis seeks an experienced Survey Party Chief to join our Survey team to manage all field aspects of projects and work closely in collaboration with a dynamic team of experienced professionals.

In Short

• Supervise the work of the survey crew and coordinate work efforts.
• Ensure accuracy of angles, distances, and other collected information.
• Coordinate findings with engineering personnel and clients.
• Research job locations and previous survey evidence.
• Keep accurate notes and complete daily logs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by crew members.
• Familiarity with surveying terms and equipment is required.
• Experience with LEICA equipment and terrestrial laser scanning is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working at extreme heights and on water.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in surveying required.

Requirements

• 8 or more years’ relevant experience in surveying.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a survey crew.
• Experience working on DOT projects.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with post processing and downloading survey data.
• No fear of extreme heights.
• Boating experience is a plus.
• FAA Part 107 UAS License is preferred.
