In Short

• Responsible for complex analysis and review of project documentation.
• Regular use of cost estimating software applications.
• Generate reports and presentations for client meetings.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost estimating and infrastructure public funded work.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Knowledgeable with construction means and methods.
• Assist with the review of cost plans and prepare cost estimates.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs using Cost – X software.
• Track market conditions and costs.
• Organise and manage cost estimating database.

Requirements

• Educated to Degree level in relevant subject.
• Proven experience in Rail/Civils.
• Proficiency in CESSM 4, RMM2 and MMHW.
• 5 years of experience in cost estimating and commercial construction work.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Exceptional skills demonstrating attention to detail.
• Adept in managing and delivering against challenging timescales.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
• RICS / CIOB (preferable).
• Proficient in using Cost-X.
