Overview

Arcadis is seeking an Office Engineer to join our team for a significant rail tunnel project in the New York / New Jersey area. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to a transformative tunnel project, leveraging your administration, information management and project management expertise.

In Short

• Perform support services as part of the construction management and administration of project construction contracts.
• Ensure that the construction of the project is completed with high level of quality and safety.
• Review, track, process and distribute submittals, RFI’s, RFC’s, design submittals, shop drawings, product data, and work plans.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and utilize Primavera Contract Management Software.
• Prepare work plans, drawings, safety guidelines, and operational needs.
• Assist in monitoring work for compliance with schedule, budget, technical, safety, and legal requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and correspondence.
• Supervise subordinate staff and coordinate all Worksite traffic control plans.
• Maintain project files and records.
• Assist in coordinating services with outside agencies.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working on large construction projects or recent graduate with relevant internship experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or other related field or equivalent work experience.
