Overview

Arcadis seeks an experienced Lead Roadway Design Engineer to join our team in Michigan, overseeing and managing roadway design projects from concept to completion.

• Lead and manage roadway design projects.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
• Supervise and mentor a team of roadway design engineers.
• Develop and review detailed roadway plans and specifications.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations.
• Stay current with industry codes and standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in roadway design and project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineers License (PE).
• Experience with MDOT bid document preparation.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, GeoPak, OpenRoads, and Corridor Modeling.
• Experience with MDOT design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Client-facing experience.
