Design Oversight Manager - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is seeking a Design Oversight Manager to join our team for a significant rail tunnel project in the New York/New Jersey area. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the design team, guiding them through all phases of the design process from concept development to detailed design and construction.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to translate project requirements into design solutions.
• Oversee the development of design concepts, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering assessments, and risk analyses.
• Ensure design quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.
• Manage design changes, scope modifications, and design-related issues.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the design team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Tunnel Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in tunnel design and construction.
