Somali–English Translation Checker - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for people who speak Somali and English to join a translation checking project. You’ll check translations to help make AI smarter and more accurate.

In Short

• Check sentence pairs: one original text + one translated text
• Work at your own pace, around 2–3 hours a day
• Complete all work yourself (no translation software allowed)
• Experience as a translator or reviewer is required
• Using translation tools like Trados, MemoQ, or Smartcat is a plus
• Project duration from 11 October – 31 December 2025
• Average checking rate is 120 sentence pairs per hour
• Earn approximately $4.80 per hour
• Independent contractor role with CrowdGen
• Join to help improve Somali–English translations

Requirements

• Fluency in Somali and English
• Experience in translation or reviewing
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with translation tools is advantageous
