Freelance Translation Evaluator – Korean - Remote

Overview

We are seeking native Korean speakers residing in South Korea to join a high-impact AI project focused on improving machine translation quality. In this role, you will evaluate video translations—specifically titles and subtitles—from a user’s perspective. Your feedback will help enhance the accuracy, naturalness, and user experience of real-time translation models.

• Review and assess AI-generated Korean translations for clarity and accuracy.
• Provide constructive feedback to inform ongoing model improvements.
• Follow project guidelines and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Native Korean speaker currently living in South Korea.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Strong proficiency in English is necessary.
• Translation or localization experience preferred.
• Stable availability between 9 AM – 6 PM (Korea Standard Time).
• Reliable internet connection required.
• Completion of onboarding survey is required prior to project invitation.

• Strong proficiency in English.
• Translation or localization experience preferred.
• Prior participation in Appen projects is a plus.
• Stable availability between 9 AM – 6 PM (Korea Standard Time).
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable device for remote work.
• Completion of the onboarding survey is required prior to official project invitation.
