Senior Manager, Analytics Engineering - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Analytics Engineering to join our Data Strategy & Product Analytics team. Reporting to the Director of Data Strategy and Product Analytics, you will lead a team of analytics engineers responsible for designing and building the company’s trusted data foundations.

• Own the design and evolution of our analytics data architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Manage and prioritize the analytics engineering roadmap, balancing business needs with foundational technical work.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers, fostering technical excellence and career development.
• Lead the response to high-pressure, revenue-impacting data incidents by coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs, translating them into technical requirements.
• Enable AI product development by transforming relational data into graph-based structures.
• Champion and design practices around data governance, documentation, testing, reliability, and quality standards.
• Oversee and optimize BI and analytics tooling for self-serve reporting.
• Partner with Engineering to evolve our data platform.
• Own the design of frontend event data strategy.

Requirements

• 6+ years in data or analytics engineering, 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, dbt, and modern data modeling practices.
• Expert proficiency with ETL/ELT frameworks and tools (e.g., Airflow, Fivetran).
• Experience with analytics data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Hands-on experience with BI tooling (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions.
• Strong people management experience.
• Bonus: Experience with graph data modeling and Python.
