Principal Artist - Remote

Overview

Age of Learning is seeking a full-time Principal Artist to add to our in-house development team, responsible for creating and assembling world-class art assets for educational games and experiences.

In Short

• Lead the creation of art for games and experiences by example
• Design appealing characters, props, and environments
• Create interactive and game assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Rive
• Work with game designers and curriculum specialists
• Develop and deliver best-in-class game art assets
• 5+ years experience in interactive products
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Advanced knowledge of color theory and visual development
• Strong traditional drawing and rendering abilities
• A passion for education and games

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an artist in games or interactive production
• Expert ability to create game-ready art
• Good communication skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Desire to sharpen artistic abilities
