Sr Engineer Software Engineering - US Based Remote

Overview

As part of our Technology talent Strategy, we are looking for a Sr. Full Stack Developer to modernize our enterprise platform & products in alignment with Anywhere’s Product Engineering strategy. This position is a senior engineering role in Anywhere’s engineering Function and requires demonstrated experience leading the development of significant projects through Product/Platform Engineering, Agile/DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

In Short

• Participate in agile ceremonies, including planning, grooming, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Develop and modify user-facing and backend features for web/microservice applications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to vision and standards.
• Build modern REST APIs and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Remediate security flaws and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Support ongoing development for existing projects/applications.
• Collaborate with product partners to translate business requirements into digital solutions.
• Work closely with UX and design teams to ensure technical feasibility while maintaining a user-centric focus.
• Assist in managing the product backlog, assigning points to backlog items, and establishing sprint goals.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and present innovations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a technical IT role, developing, configuring, and implementing business-critical and consumer-facing applications.
• Experience with major Cloud providers, especially Azure (AWS is a bonus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, WCF/SOAP/REST, SQL Server, Windows).
• Proven experience with Node.js, Angular, React, and APIs.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git version control, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
