Principal Consultant - GHG Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Principal Consultant will support GHG Accounting and Reporting services in North America, managing projects and client relationships to drive sustainability goals.

In Short

• Support and lead GHG inventory services and compliance advisory.
• Manage multiple projects ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

• Perform line management responsibilities for direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field required.
• 8+ years’ experience in corporate GHG emissions accounting.
• Proficiency in calculating Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Understanding of Life Cycle Assessments and carbon footprints.
• Familiarity with carbon accounting standards (e.g., ISO 14064).
• Knowledge of GHG emissions disclosure policies and regulations.
• Project management skills and experience with third-party audits.
• Experience in ESG strategy and corporate disclosures a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decisions at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
