Overview

The Vendor Return Analyst at Patterson is responsible for managing the return of inventory to suppliers, ensuring that the business receives appropriate credits while contributing to a positive work environment focused on professional growth.

In Short

• Manage the process for returning inventory to suppliers.
• Evaluate short-dated inventory for returns.
• Create return purchase orders for the Operations team.
• Monitor and track shipments and supplier credits.
• Communicate with suppliers for return approvals.
• Analyze root causes of short-dated inventory.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for returns.
• Collaborate with management and sales teams.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and customer orientation.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• SAP/ERP experience highly preferred.
• Ability to operate office devices for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively in various formats.
• Ability to read and interpret documents accurately.
