In Short

• Perform purchasing of indirect and direct items, including raw materials and components.
• Establish and maintain inventory levels to mitigate shortage risks.
• Coordinate with ERP and configuration managers for demand planning.
• Participate in production meetings to report supply chain status.
• Expedite orders to ensure delivery dates are met.
• Track and report supplier performance and metrics.
• Maintain a vendor approved supplier file database.
• Assist with supplier pricing and proposal preparation.
• Monitor quality and delivery performance of suppliers.
• Complete and monitor reports on supplier performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in inventory control or high school diploma with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with commodity-based contract manufacturing and ERP.
• Knowledge of standard purchasing practices and compliance.
• Ability to present information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in MS Office suite.
