At Anchorage Digital, we are building the world’s most advanced digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto. We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our Internal Systems Engineering team and improve operational efficiency through innovative software solutions.

In Short

• Work on back-office systems to reduce manual work and consolidate systems.
• Build new backend services and integrate with existing services.
• Collaborate with Global Operations teams to identify and solve pain points.
• Participate in code reviews and foster a strong testing culture.
• Break down large projects into manageable tasks.
• Ship code that improves operational efficiency.
• Influence the technical direction of internal systems.
• Mentor and guide other engineers.
• 5+ years of experience in software system development.
• Passion for code quality and user experience.

Requirements

• Experience in building and enhancing complex internal software systems.
• Knowledge of cloud native micro-services.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Real-world experience with distributed systems.
• Interest in code quality and infrastructure.
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and operating systems.
• Creative, humble, and eager to learn.
• Detail-oriented and trustworthy.
• Bonus points for experience with Python, Go, and Kubernetes.
• Background in finance is a plus.
