Overview

The Cybersecurity Governance Specialist develops and maintains information security policies, processes, configuration baselines, and standards, working closely with various IT departments.

• 100% remote position working eastern time zone hours.

• Develop and maintain information security policies and standards.
• Assist with annual audit assessments and define security processes.

• Must have Security+ certification.

Requirements

• 4+ years related work experience in IT Security.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Foundational knowledge of information risk concepts.
• Experience with NIST, HITRUST, and security controls frameworks.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership.
• Strong customer focus and team-oriented interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• High critical thinking skills.
• Expertise in implementing configuration frameworks.
• CISSP certification preferred.
