Overview

Join Altium as a Site Reliability Manager to ensure the reliability and performance of the Altium Cloud Platforms.

In Short

• Understanding how an Altium Cloud Platform works
• Pioneer improvements in observability, including logging, monitoring, and application performance management (APM)
• Lead incident response and management, ensuring rapid resolution and clear stakeholder communication
• Plan and oversee infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing SRE team
• Participate in system design consulting and capacity planning
• Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of software solutions
• Partner closely with engineering and development teams
• Drive automation initiatives and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Leading/Management roles
• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• Strong understanding of SDLC and microservice architecture
• Experience with observability tools like NewRelic, Elastic, Grafana
• Knowledge of Kubernetes clusters in production settings and AWS
• Familiarity with CI-CD tooling such as Jenkins, Gitlab, GitHub
• 5+ years experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
