Paying Agent Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Paying Agent Specialist is primarily responsible for the disbursement of payments to contractors.

In Short

• Apply payments to assignments appropriately
• Review and follow up on payments that don’t match assignments
• Review full and partial payment requests
• Communicate with service providers to ensure proper documentation is submitted
• Communicate with the PAS Training Instructor for training program adjustments
• Answer telephone calls from the PAS queues
• Respond to contractor inquiries concerning PAS processes
• Research and process refunds back to the carrier
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of AA/AS or equivalent education required
• 2+ years of customer service experience with accounting/banking duties
• Strong attention to detail and task completion
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Problem solving skills, including financial reconciliation
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Strong computer skills including Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to participate in process creation and execution
