1415 Process Engineering Specialist - Remote

Overview

ALTEN Mexico is a leading engineering and technology company specializing in providing innovative solutions across various industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking and Insurance, Telecommunications and Multimedia, and Railways. We are currently seeking a Process Engineering Specialist L2 to join our team and manage manufacturing processes at an important OEM plant.

In Short

• Identify and select suppliers for bidding processes.
• Prepare RFQ packages and send them to the Purchasing department.
• Draft purchase order requisitions (PO).
• Follow up on PO requisitions until they are released.
• Coordinate the unloading and placement of equipment according to plant design.
• Execute equipment startup procedures.
• Assist suppliers in debugging all processes.
• Define acceptance procedures with the plant team.
• Document the acceptance process.
• Prepare and present weekly reports for each program.

Requirements

• Experience in process engineering.
• Knowledge of supplier management.
• Ability to prepare technical evaluations.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Experience in coordinating equipment installation.
• Familiarity with acceptance procedures (PSO/PPAP).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Proficiency in reporting and documentation.
