Processing Operator - Remote

Overview

The Processing Operator is responsible for assembling, calibrating, operating, and monitoring extrusion systems while ensuring product quality and safety standards are met.

In Short

• Assemble and operate extrusion systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle and stack heavy bags of ingredients.
• Operate forklifts and scanners for inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the Quality Assurance department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in equipment clean-up post-production runs.
• Complete production reports and notify supervisors of any issues.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Entry-level experience required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Physical ability to lift heavy weights and perform various physical tasks.
• Ability to distinguish colors for product quality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Proactive troubleshooting skills.
