Overview

Alphanumeric is hiring a Japanese Customer Service Agent - Level 1 to work remotely in Canada, supporting one of the biggest Pharma companies in the world. This role focuses on providing essential technical and operational support that directly impacts patient care and global health initiatives.

In Short

• Fully remote position based in Canada.
• 1-year contract with a salary of $19.00 CAD/hour.
• Night shift incentive of $2 extra per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-6:00am.
• Availability for rotational shifts covering 24/7 business needs.
• Must have a work permit, PR, or citizenship in Canada.
• Training hours from Monday to Friday - 2AM to 11AM EST.
• 2 weeks of vacation per year after a 90-day probation period.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
• Experience in customer service and familiarity with ticketing systems preferred.
• Support for pharma-related systems and urgent requests.

Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask under pressure with attention to detail.
• Previous helpdesk or service desk experience is a plus.
• Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar systems is a plus.
• Hardwired internet connection with specified speeds.
• Private and quiet office space for professional calls.
• Flexibility to support rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High level of integrity when handling sensitive information.
