French Translator & Editor - Remote

Overview

The French Translator/Editor is responsible for translating and editing a variety of materials from English into French, supporting the Language Services team in preparing A.A. literature and other French-language content.

In Short

• Translate content from English to French for A.A. materials.
• Edit French materials for clarity and accuracy.
• Translate and edit occasional French-to-English materials.
• Coordinate with contracted translators.
• Utilize translation tools as needed.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3-5 years of experience as a translator and editor.
• Native-level fluency in French and excellent English proficiency.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with translation memory or CAT tools preferred.
• Degree in translation, languages, or related field.
• Knowledge of A.A. literature is a plus.
