Lead DCS Engineer - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for handling all DCS/CS activities in the field for all GEV-GA projects, including on-shore and off-shore support in UAE and Oman. The Lead DCS Engineer will coordinate closely with various teams and report to the Engineering & Field Services leader.

• Handle all DCS/CS activities for GEV-GA projects.
• Prepare Signal Lists and Interlocking documents.
• Oversee Field Services activities for Substation Automation Systems.
• Lead technical activities for assigned projects.
• Conduct site testing and commissioning.
• Manage resource planning and workload.
• Ensure customer commitments are met.
• Prepare As-Built documentation.
• Coordinate EHS issues at the workplace.
• Possess knowledge of substation automation technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience with GE DS Agile, PACiS, and D2xx RTUs.
• Knowledge of IEC61850 and industrial protocols.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of substation electrical drawings.
• Proficient in PC installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in SCS commissioning.
• Knowledge of Cyber security solutions.
