QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a QA Engineer at Air Apps, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of our applications through manual and functional testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and deliver a seamless user experience.

In Short

• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Document and report bugs, working closely with developers.
• Ensure feature compliance by validating product requirements.
• Identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve software quality.
• Provide clear and structured feedback.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA best practices.

Requirements

• Around 3+ years of experience in manual and functional testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing types.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify usability issues.
• Knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
