Overview

AHRC New York City is seeking a Fee-for-Service clinician for their Department of Family and Clinical Services, which provides psychotherapy for persons with Developmental Disabilities who have a co-occurring psychiatric condition.

In Short

  • Fee-for-Service clinician position available.
  • Provide psychotherapy for diverse clients across their lifespans.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques including CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic.
  • Work under supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist.
  • Flexible scheduling options including daytime, evening, and weekends.
  • In-person and Telehealth options available.
  • Location is flexible within the five boroughs of New York.
  • Collaboration with a team of psychologists and social workers.
  • Experience with DSM-V diagnoses required.
  • Excellent communication and clinical writing skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree in Social Work, Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
  • License required unless currently working in an Article 16 clinic.
  • Experience in providing psychotherapy.
  • Ability to coordinate treatment with team members.
  • Ability to work independently under supervision.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) are not qualified for this position.
