• Monitor and analyze network traffic and alerts.
• Investigate intrusion attempts and perform in-depth analysis of exploits.
• Provide network intrusion detection expertise for effective incident declaration.
• Conduct proactive threat research.
• Review security events in a SIEM system.
• Tune rules and policies for security technologies.
• Data mine log sources to investigate anomalous activity.
• Document activities during incidents and provide updates.
• Manage incident response and reporting.
• Assist in developing processes to improve incident response.

Requirements

• Incident handling/response experience.
• Experience with Automation tools.
• Working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Understanding of security technologies (IDS, Firewall, SIEM).
• Ability to creatively solve complex problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work independently and collaboratively.
• 8-10 years of experience in Information Security.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies.
• Knowledge of security threats and vulnerabilities.
