QA/SDET Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a QA/SDET Engineer, you’ll take ownership of building and driving a modern testing culture from the ground up, ensuring quality is integrated throughout the entire development lifecycle.

In Short

• Become the first QA/SDET in the team and define how we approach testing.
• Drive the testing infrastructure and ensure high-quality standards across our product.
• Mentor and support developers to take ownership of their own testing.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to co-own and write automated tests.
• Promote a “shift-left” QA mindset.
• Continuously improve our testing practices, tools, and processes.
• 4+ years of experience as a Python engineer.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Requirements

• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI) is a plus.
• Frontend testing or front-end framework experience (Vue.js, React) is a plus.
• Early-stage startup experience is a plus.
• Experience building with LLMs or agentic AI systems is a plus.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Proactive and responsible for outcomes.
• Bias for action and decision-making.
• Curiosity about the bigger picture.
• Ability to work with a scrappy mindset.
• Full overlap with Central European Time or at least 6+ hours.
