Occupational Medicine Nurse Case Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Medicine Nurse Case Manager to join our team. This role focuses on coordinating and managing work-related health cases, ensuring employees receive timely, appropriate care while supporting safe and efficient return-to-work outcomes.

In Short

• Serve as the primary clinical liaison between employees, employers, treating physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Assess and monitor work-related injuries or illnesses.
• Coordinate care with specialists, therapists, and external providers.
• Maintain thorough and high-quality clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Track patient progress and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide education to employees regarding treatment plans and injury prevention.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in case review meetings for complex cases.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited NP or nursing program with an active, unrestricted California license.
• Must meet all licensure requirements for the applicable state of practice.
• Demonstrated experience managing occupational medicine cases.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations and compliance.
• Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
