Software Assurance Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Software Assurance Engineer will support the USPTO Cybersecurity Division by establishing a white-box testing capability to enhance data security protections for sensitive systems.

• Establish white-box testing capabilities for USPTO.

Requirements

• Active DoD - Public Trust clearance.
• CISSP or equivalent certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in security architecture reviews.
• Experience with white-box testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with static and dynamic application security testing tools.
• Understanding of OSI model and common protocols.
• Proficient in web application infrastructure.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
