After-School All-Stars (ASAS) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1992 that provides free, daily afterschool programs to nearly 75,000 children in need across 350 school sites in 17 chapters throughout the United States. The organization aims to support children in becoming healthy, active, and successful individuals by helping them graduate high school, pursue higher education, find fulfilling jobs, and contribute positively to their communities. ASAS focuses on fostering individual passions through tailored academic support, enrichment, and health and fitness programming, while also providing a safe environment during the critical hours of 3pm-6pm when youth are most vulnerable to negative influences. By building caring relationships and incorporating service learning, ASAS empowers students to develop the confidence and skills necessary to become leaders in their communities.
