Hospitality Construction Project Manager - Remote

Overview

This position is for an owner's representative Project Manager to oversee construction and refurbishment projects for hotel properties, based in Great Neck, New York, with some potential for remote work.

In Short

• Oversee construction and refurbishment projects for hotel properties.
• Manage large, complex hospitality/commercial construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, schedule, and budget.
• Lead and manage multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously.
• Manage all aspects of capital projects including scope and budget.
• Knowledge of Hilton or Marriott brand requirements is a plus.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and integrity.
• Prepare to travel domestically as necessary.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• BS/BA in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years related experience required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, and methods.
• Knowledge of building codes and related codes.
• Experience with estimating, scheduling, and construction management software.
• Experience with design software like AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Ideally experienced in hospitality projects.
• Self-motivated to take charge and assume responsibility.
